Do you have a story that needs to be told? Have you wanted to try storytelling, stand-up comedy, or spoken word? Now’s your chance to hone your skills with industry professional, Troy Stark. The first hour covers the basics of live performance, and the remaining two hours consist of working on your story.

Writer, comedian, video game designer, and recent addition to the Gabriola arts community, Troy Stark’s unbelievable stories make him one of Canada’s most captivating performers. Troy has been featured on Canada Laughs and MTV Canada, and his creation, The Nerdy Show, has appeared in front of sold-out crowds at FanExpo Cana da and ComicCon. Troy’s debut album #TheKingOfClubs can be found on iTunes and Spotify.

Materials to bring: Notebook, writing utensils, a voice, the Notes app on your phone. Optional: a real-life story you would like help developing.
