Kind Cuisine: Healthy and Affordable
Friday, Apr 10 | 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In this continuation of the Kind Cuisine series, learn how to be kind to your health, your pocketbook, Mother Earth, and our fellow animals by joining us in making some healthy and affordable whole food plant-based creations.  Dive in and together, we’ll chop, slice, grate, blend, and simmer our way into a delicious meal for sharing.

The Vegeteers: For many years, Vegeteers Sigrid Bjarnason, Trish Mooney, Kathi Chorneyko, and Kim Bjarnason have been preparing and enjoying their own very tasty plant-based meals and love to share their knowledge and experience.  For several years they have presented fun, informative plant-based food workshops on Gabriola. Also, Kim is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and teaches at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Nanaimo.
