Create a small art quilt using traditional and new methods of piecing and adding small interesting pieces of fabric, yarn, ribbons, and decorative threads. Morag Orr-Stevens is an award-winning artist who enjoys exploring different techniques and themes that combine a variety of texture and media.

Morag is a former vice president of the Gabriola Arts Council, and a member of Gabriola Fibre Artists and quilt group, and Vancouver Island Surface Design Association.

Materials to bring: Sewing machine and accessories. Optional: cutting board, rotary cutter with sharp blade, 12” quilters ruler, scissors, pins, safety pins, neutral-coloured thread, fabric scraps, anything else you can think of to decorate quilt.
