This workshop will explore what makes characters great—and how they are revealed by their words and actions. With exercises to free the imagination, you’ll spend the afternoon exploring the two great action arenas—swashbuckling and lovemaking—while writing your own scenes.

Chris (C.C.) Humphreys has acted on stages from London’s West End to Hollywood’s Twentieth Century Fox. He has written several novels for adults and youth, and won the CWA Best Crime Novel Award in 2015.
