Learn the basics of pulling loops in the ages-old craft—and art!—of traditional rug hooking. Beginners, and those who haven’t hooked in a while, will hook a one-of-a-kind mat to take home. Maia Levine inherited her Gram’s rug hooks in 1999 and has been happily rug hooking ever since. Her work has been featured in events and galleries and most recently juried into Celebration magazine. Hooking rugs is her art and craft, her challenge, and her joy.

Materials to bring: Cloth scissors.
