A memory cloth is a piece of handwork that, through the meditative process of stitching, allows us to unravel memories, to mend old wounds, and to stitch together the past. This workshop will help participants to: preserve and/or release the past, gain insight into our individual histories, feel close to loved ones that may have passed on, embed new ideas in our consciousness, and express our own voice and experience. Heather Cameron is a professional visual artist working primarily in textiles.

Heather holds a post-graduate diploma in art therapy. Her skills include embroidery, spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, crochet, rug hooking, and quilting.
